The D-8 Organisation for Economic Cooperation has expressed dismay over the low trade relations among member countries that is in the region of one hundred billion dollars despite its combination economy of four point five trillion dollars. Global Director, D-8 Health and Social Protection Programme, Ado Muhammad disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja. He said the organisation also known as Developing-8 is working tirelessly to increase health trades by ten percent annually for the next five years. Mr. Muhammad also Noted that funding from individual government may not be enough to address the health system needs of over one point five billion people from the D-8 countries but through innovative sustainable financing and mobilisation of resources.
