The Defence Headquarters has confirmed that notorious terrorist commander, Mai Hijab has been eliminated.
Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba disclosed this at a press briefing on Military operations across the six geo-political zones at the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) in Abuja.
He said Hijab was neutralized in major military operations in Taraba. Gen Buba further reviewed military onslaughts across the theatres of operations in the period under review.
He confirmed that 153 assorted weapons including over 1,500 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the various operations.
The military high command however urged the public to collaborate with security agencies and provide credible information that will aid in securing law-abiding citizens.
