The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented Certificates of Return to the Governor-elect of Edo state Senator Monday Okpebholo and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa.
The brief ceremony held at the INEC headquarters in Abuja was supervised by National Commissioner Prof Rhoda Gumus who stood in for the chairman of the commission.
As expected the occasion was witnessed by top chieftains of the All Progressive Congress including the National Chairman of the Party, Abdullahi Ganduje, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, Minister of Niger, Abubakar Momoh among others.
Speaking with journalists after receiving his certificate of return,elated Senator Okpebholo said the next task for him is to work the talk in delivery democracy dividends to the people of the State.
