The All Progressive Congress (APC) has inaugurated Local Government Areas (LGAs) Congress Committees to conduct it’s upcoming nation-wide Local Government (LGA) Congresses. Inaugurating members of the committee, the National Secretary, APC Caretaker Extraordinarily Convention Planning Committee, Sen. John Akpanudoedehe advised them to undertake the task without fear or favour. He assured them that the CECPC has ratified and adopted the results of the party’s earlier nationwide Ward Congresses held on Saturday July 31st 2021, noting that on no ground should any State Caretaker Committee swear in any person or group of persons that were not elected through the congress as such action will amount to exercise on futility. Earlier, Chairman, APC local government Congress Committee, Osita Okechukwu who commended the Leadership of the party for the opportunity given to them to serve, pledged the committee’s commitment to ensure that a level playing ground is provided for all contestants. The APC local government Congresses is scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
