Centre for Transparency and Accountability (CTA) has expressed reservation over the gross violation of the 2023 Electoral Act by President, Muhammadu Buhari and other political leaders.
The Executive Director, CTA, Faith Nwadishi disclosed this at its Electoral Situation Room while updating newsmen of the group’s findings so far.
She said despite the vote not being invalidated, the President did not show a good example. She also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for providing dedicated polling units for People With Disabilities (PWDs) in order for them not to be disenfranchised.
Some officials of the CTA Situation Room however, spoke on the observation recorded from the 2023 polls.
They further appreciated the electorates for comings out en mass to exercise their civic responsibility as well as conducting themselves in an orderly manner.
