The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council has asked Nigerians to hold President Muhammadu Buhari and his ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, responsible for the high cost of living and insecurity being experienced in the country.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, the Director of Strategic Communication, Dele Momodu, said the mismanagement of the nation’s economy by Buhari is the cause of the free-fall of the Naira and spike in insecurity in Nigeria.
Momodu insisted that the ineptitude of the APC administration is responsible for the hopeless state of all sectors on the country assuring that the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has a well articulated blueprint to address the challenges confronting the nation.
Other spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council who attended the conference also expressed confidence that Atiku will turn around the economic situation in the country for good if elected.
The campaign council has called on security agencies in the country to be at the top of their game as 2023 general elections approach.
