As part of strategy to set Nigeria on the path of economic growth and development,the federal government is exploring new ground to boost the nation’s gross domestic product through science and technology. To this effect,a committee on science, technology and innovative policy has been set up with mandate to drive the process. At a brief Inauguration ceremony in a Abuja, the minister of science and technology,Dr Ogbonnaya Onu tasked the committee to work out initiatives for enhanced economic productivity in the country.
