Just In: Disability Act, Stakeholders Fine-tunes Strategies For Implementation

According to the World Health Organization 2011 World Disability Report, about 25 million Nigerians have one form of disability with most of them faced a number of human rights abuses. However,the signing into law of the discrimination against persons with disabilities prohibition act by President Muhammadu Buhari in January 23,2019 brought hope and succor to victims . To ensure effective implementation of the act, stakeholders converged on the nation’s capital to map out strategies especially as it affect prosecution of offenders.
