Otunba Oladele Bankole-Balogun, a leading aspirant for the Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, has pledged to provide a “very aggressive” and “dogged” representation if elected to the National Assembly.
Speaking from Igarra in Edo North, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain emphasized that his tenure would be defined by a commitment to fighting for the rights of his constituents and maintaining a vocal presence on critical national issues.
”When elected, my people should expect a very aggressive representation, a very dogged fighter for our rights,” Bankole-Balogun stated. “I will be someone who will stand up in the Federal House on behalf of the people of Akoko-Edo and Nigerians in general.”
The aspirant noted that his goal is to ensure his voice is heard on matters that will “drive Nigeria along the continuum,” positioning himself as a legislator focused on national progress as much as local advocacy.
During the media interaction, Bankole-Balogun also called upon his supporters and constituents to mobilize for the APC in the upcoming elections. He urged a massive turnout for the party’s candidates, including the State Governor and the President, expressing confidence in the current administration’s direction.
”Nigeria is a work in progress; an awful lot of good work is being done,” he said. “I believe with this new parliament coming in next year, we will be on the trajectory to a stable, much more secure, and prosperous Nigeria.”
The candidate concluded by reinforcing his roots in Igarra and his commitment to the Edo North federal constituency, signaling his readiness to transition from the campaign trail to the floor of the Green Chamber.
