As the Independent National Electoral Commission,Political Parties,Security and other key Electoral stakeholders concludes arrangement for the November 6 Anambra Governorship election, the Inter party Advisory Council IPAC has called for a hitch free electoral process. Addressing a news conference in Abuja, IPAC National Chairman, Dr Leonard Nzenwa admonished the people of the south east state to set aside individual and political differences and work towards the success of the election. The Council also advised the youth population to resists selfish motives to undermine the electoral contest saying any action aimed at threatening the poll will amount to a threat to nationhood. IPAC further urged INEC to play by the rules insisting that the gesture will help address concerns of voter apathy. The need for security agencies to discharge their duties professionally was also highlighted at the briefing. 28 political parties and candidates are seeking to replace Willie Obiano as Governor of Anambra state in the election slated for Saturday November 6 2021.
