The Defence headquarters has warned military personnel not on essential services to stay clear off polling units or risked being arrested. Defence spokesperson, Brig.General John Agim at a news conference in Abuja said the core mandate of the military is to protect lives and properties . He said while it is important that military personnel perform their civic duty to vote,they must not come to the polling units on mufti.
