No fewer than 218,000 candidates sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mock exam conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) across designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in the country.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed this while monitoring the exercise at a CBT centre in Bwari, Abuja.
Oloyede who noted that the purpose of the exercise was aimed at testing the board’s readiness for the main examination and experimenting with new strategies to improve the process, confirmed that the results of the mock examination will be released on Friday,
The Registrar further warned candidates against examination malpractices, saying the board has taken steps to check the trend.
The 2025 UTME is scheduled to commence on April 25 at approved CBT centres across the country.
