Officers and personnel of the Nigeria Immigration Service have been urged to take advantage of the state of the art facilities provided by the service in providing world class services to respective clients. The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola stated this while commissioning an ultra-modern Conference Centre at the Service Headquarters in Abuja. Recall that the ground breaking event of the Centre with over one thousand sitting capacity was held in late 2018. Expressing optimism that the edifice will be used judiciously for the good of the service, the minister called for adequate management of it’s facilities. He thereafter named the edifice after the NIS Commandant General, Muhammad Babandede in view of his landmark achievements and contributions to the growth of the Service. Earlier, as part of activities lined up to commemorate his exit from the Service, Babandede commissioned a state-of-the art Transit Camp made up of 72 mini flats for Personel on special assignment to the NIS headquarters.
