The Federal Government has introduced a special vaccination exercise that will enable serving and retirees of public and private sector firms to be vaccinated in their office premises. The Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib disclosed this in Abuja while giving an update on COVID-19 vaccination in the country. He said some Nigerians may find it difficult to leave their immediate environment to be vaccinated as such the agency took the initiative to make provision for vaccination points closer to them. Some development partners commended the agency for the progress recorded so far in the administration of the vaccine. With the deadly Delta variance of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is expected that Nigerians support the effort of the Federal Government to ensure that citizens are safe and protected by taking the vaccine.
