NADDC Earmarks N25m, Trains 200 Youths On Various Auto Skills Acquisition
The National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC, has commenced the training of some selected youths from the North Central on software automotive skills acquisition. The Director General, NADDC, Jelani Aliyu said the move was part of strategies to enhance the growth of the nation’s automobile industry. Represented by the Director, Research, Design Development, Fidelis Achiv the NADDC, boss twenty one participants were selected from the North Central zone. He also noted that the training was also part of measures to empower youths and reduce the rate of unemployment among Nigerian youths as the Council organized similar training in the North West and South Eastern part of the country. NADDC board member, Nankin Bagudu urged the participants to be committed to the training and contribute their quota to the growth of automobile sector in the country. The skills acquisition programme is designed to last for two weeks.
