This is the 9th graduation ceremony of beneficiaries of the Defence and Police Officers Wives (DEPOWA)Skills Acquisition Centre in Abuja. The Centre which was established to support families of fallen hero’s through skills Acquisition has graduated over 382 students of which 136 are widows including 14 vulnerable youths. Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin charged the graduates to be proactive and make good use of the skills they have acquired as well as the start up parks given to them He further assured of the Armed forces support in accomplishing the mandate of the initiative
