As the Nigerian Government continue to initiate policies targeted at mitigating the spread of coronavirus,Christian leaders have been charged to stop the exhibition of reckless confidence and instruct their congregation to do the right thing. Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce of Focus 19 Boss Mustapha gave the indication at the inter denominational service in Abuja put together by the Nigerian Inter Religious Council. Admonishing Nigerians to adhere strictly to the safety measures as established by the PTF, Mustapha used the occasion to inform the churches that civid 19 is not a hoax. The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Ignatius Kagama was among several Christian leaders that attended the service. In his exhortation, the cleric said the global rising cases of the decision informed the need to seek for divine intervention. NIREC had declared a 3 days fasting and prayers which began with Friday July 3 jumaat prayers at the national mosque Abuja to seek for divine intervention over the coronavirus Pandemic.
