NBA Canvases Free Legal Services For The Voiceless.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe, says the association is open to partnership with like minded groups in advancing legal support to the oppressed and marginalized.

Osigwe gave the indication during a courtesy visit to the Albino Foundation in Abuja.

The NBA President emphasized the need to ensure vulnerable persons receive free legal services where necessary to ensure their rights are protected.

Responding, the founder, Albino foundation Africa, Jake Ekpele called for the development of inclusive programs that address diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), particularly focusing on women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

He further urged the NBA to intensify efforts in providing legal aid for the voiceless in the society.

Other takeaways from the engagement includes the need to strengthen deeper collaboration between the two organisations.
