As part of the ongoing onslaught against Terrorists and other criminal elements by the military, the Minister of Defence, Badaru has confirmed that incidents of security breaches have been reduced by 65 percent across the country.
Badaru gave the indication at a press conference to kick start the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration, at the National Defence College in Abuja.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Ibrahim Kana, the minister said the armed forces will would do everything within its power to contain all forms of threats against the nation.
On the 2025 Armed forces remembrance day, the minister reassured families and relations of fallen horoes that their death is not in vain. Badaru further highlighted activities lined up for the 2025 Armed Forces remembrance day.
Some of the activities lined up for next year’s edition of the ceremony includes laying of wreath by President Bola Tinubu and other dignitaries at the National Arcade Abuja on 15 January, 2025 .
