The Nigerian Military says it has uncover plans by terrorists aiming to destroy some critical infrastructure in the Country.
Director, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. Edward Buba, who disclosed this at a news conference to update Nigerians on successes recorded by troops in diverse operations said security agencies have been alerted to prevent the planned attacks.
He noted that, the military is doing all it could to ensure that both internal and external aggressions are nipped in the bud.
The defence spokesperson while revealing that 109 kidnapped victims were rescued during the week under review, said troops neutralised 187 terrorists, arrest 183 criminals including 26 oil thieves.
He however, called on Nigerians to always volunteer information that will help security agencies tackle the nation’s security challenges.
