The Defence Headquarters has declared Halilu Buzu, a citizen of Republic of Niger, wanted for terrorism. Director Defence Media Operations, Maj.Gen.
Edward Buba made the declaration at a media briefing on Military operations on Thursday at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
According to General Buba, the notorious suspected terrorist leader who operates in Subbubu Forest in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara state is also a prominent cattle rustler and illegal gold miner.
Other highlights of the briefing includes activities of troops in various operations across the country. General Buba also used the opportunity to make clarification on the recent visit of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Lady Megan to Nigeria.
The Defence spokesman restated the military’s commitment to winning the fight against terrorism, insisting that the efforts will continue until peace and security are restored.
