The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa has indicated that personnel found guilty in the December 3 accidental killing of over 100 civilians in Tudun Biri, Kaduna State will be in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State would be punished.
General Musa who confirmed this at a parley with the media in Abuja said the military would not shield any officer indicted by the outcome of the independent investigation ordered by President Bola Tinubu.
He however assured that the panel would ensure fairness in its investigations.
The CDS once again expressed regret over the incident,saying the military would be more professional in the discharge of its responsibilities.
Other security measures especially in ensuring a peaceful yuletide season in the southEast and other parts of the country was further analysed by the Defence Chief at the briefing.
