The Centre for Transparency Advocacy has unveiled a compendium of reports on its observation of the 2023 General Elections. At a ceremony to unveil the reports in Abuja, CTA Executive Director Faith Nwadishi said the gesture is part of the centres contribution to enrich literatures in the Nigerian electoral process as well as a source of institutional memory and history for generations to come.
She said the compendium seeks to give insights to the issues and frequently asked questions by citizens and stakeholders.
Nwadishi who admitted to several challenges in the conduct of elections in Nigeria, however affirmed to some improvements in the nations electoral process.
As expected ,the ceremony was attended by major stakeholders in the electoral process who took turns to share their experiences on the conduct of the 2023 Election. The CTA election observation compendium reports consists of the 2023 General Elections Observation Report.
A perception Study on the Understanding of the mandate of the Electoral Umpire by stakeholders and a Compendium of the 2019 General Elections and Off-season elections conducted by INEC up to 2022.
