Activities will soon commenced at the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), 5 years after it’s closure.
The Director General NCAC, Otunba Runsewe disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja.
He blamed the activities of criminals and mismanagement of funds as factors that necessitated the shut down of the crafts village.
Runsewe however revealed plans to rebrand the crafts village into a more viable outfit that will attract funds to the federal government coffers.
The NCAC boss further debunked insinuations that the site has been sold to a private outfit.
