The United States Chapter of the All Progressive Congress has staged a Pro democracy march in Washington DC in support of the victory of its candidate Bola TINUBU in the February 25th presidential election.
Addressing the Party’s supporters at the Lafayette Park – Southwest Quadrant, opposite the White House, the Chairman of the US chapter of the APC, Prof Tai Bolafin said the rally was staged to let the world know that the February 25th presidential election was free and fair.
He debunked claims by supporters of the Labour party presidential candidate Peter Obi who earlier demonstrated at the same venue saying the APC candidate won the election based on his popularity.
Calling for support of Democracy in Nigeria, they expressed confidence that tactics deployed by the opposition to scuttle the peace and tranquility in Nigeria will not succeed.
