Nigeria is set to join other nations in the continent to observe the 2019 African vaccine week.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja,the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr.Faisal Shuaib said the week is set aside to draw attention of stakeholders to the unlimited opportunities vaccines offer humanity in saving lives especially the vulnerable children.
He said the contributions of individuals whose efforts have affected the lives of over 116.2 million children from vaccine preventable diseases will also be acknowledged during the exercise.
