The Nigeria Police Force, has unveiled the official Logo and Mascot for the 13th Biennial Police Games in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba said apart from helping men and officers of the Force to maintain their mental health, the game will provide the opportunity to identify sporting talents.
He added that most of the talents discovered have turn out to became global stars.
He however, appreciated the Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel for accepting to host the game. Earlier, the representative of the Akwa-Ibom State Governor, Paul Bassey assured the Inspector General of Police of their preparedness to ensure that the sport fiesta is hitch-free.
The theme of the 2022 Police Game is, “Promoting Sporting Excellence Towards ensuring Fit For Operational Exigencies and Combat Readiness”.
