The Nigeria military says it has finally arrested the terrorists behind the gruesome massacre of scores of worshippers in a Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor made the disclosure at a meeting with Editors and Media Executives in Abuja.
He said the Sunday, June 5th 2022, gunmen that invaded St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, killing about forty worshippers that are in their custody will be paraded as soon as ongoing investigation is completed.
The Defence Chief also assured of the commitment of the military to protecting the democratic ideals of the nation ahead of the 2023 general elections. Gen Irabor however, solicited support of Nigerians to collectively checkmate the issues of insecurity that has threatened the peace and stability of the Nation.
