As political activities heat up ahead of the 2023 general elections, Youths under the wing of the All Progressives Congress have inaugurated a high level committee with the aim of strengthening their participation in the political process.
Other task of the committee is to lobby policy makers across the country to ensure the success and emergence of credible young aspirants in the forthcoming party primary elections.
Addressing newsmen at a press conference in Abuja, the National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel expressed optimism that a youthful leadership will further enhanced the party’s viability in winning elections.
The APC Youths further vowed to resist any attempt by desperate politicians to use them as thugs during the 2023 general elections as one of the Co Chair, Ahmed Salihijo pledged his support in engaging the youths during the election.
TRACK UP The committee is expected to serve as an advocacy team that will interface with relevant stakeholders on behalf of the young aspirants who bought the nomination forms.
