The Nigerian Air Force educational institutions are set to benefit from a fresh wave of support from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund.
This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Sonny Echono, following a visit by the Chief of Air Staff, Sunday Kelvin Aneke, to the Fund’s headquarters in Abuja.
The Air Chief commended the warm reception by the TETFund team and acknowledged the Fund’s long-standing support to the Nigerian Air Force, particularly in strengthening technical and academic training.
Responding, the TETFund Executive Secretary, Sonny Echono, emphasized the strategic importance of the Nigerian Air Force in both national security and education.
Reaffirming TETFund’s commitment, he assured the Air Chief that interventions at the Air Force Institute of Technology, including staff accommodation and infrastructure projects, have already been planned for this year.
The visit was aimed at renewing collaboration to further strengthen Nigeria’s tertiary education system, especially within Nigerian Air Force institutions.
