A civil society group, League for Good Governance has called on President Bola Tinubu to prioritise integrity and accountability in his administration by ensuring that individuals with questionable academic credentials are flushed out.
The Convener, Isaiah Ijele made the call at a news conference in Abuja tagged “Upholding Integrity and Accountability in Governance.”
He said the President owe Nigerians the responsibility to disregard any pressure to shield appointees who have erred by ensuring that his government upholds the principles of transparency and good governance.
Mr Ijele however, appealed to President Tinubu to uphold the rule of law for the sake of posterity.
