The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the schedule for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course, set to take place across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the 21-day program will begin with the reception and registration of Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Registration is expected to conclude at midnight on Friday, April 24, 2024.

The formal swearing-in ceremony for the newly mobilized graduates is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026, marking the official start of their service year. The orientation exercise will subsequently conclude on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

In the statement, the NYSC Management emphasized the importance of safety, strictly warning PCMs against embarking on night journeys to their respective camps.

”Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it is 6:00 PM and pass the night at any available Corps Members’ Lodge, military formation, police station, or traditional ruler’s palace before continuing the following morning,” the Director stated.

The scheme extended its well-wishes to all mobilized graduates, praying for their safe travels as they depart for various orientation camps nationwide.
