Meanwhile, the Award Committee has approved July 22 and 23, 2026, for the conduct of the BECE Re-sit Examination in Mathematics and English Studies.

The re-sit examination is designed for candidates with conditional deficiencies in Mathematics, English Studies, or both. It provides affected candidates with an opportunity to remedy the deficiencies and obtain the certification required for admission and placement into Senior Secondary School (SSS1) without repeating an academic year.
