MFA Celebrates Legacy of Amb. Husseini as He Bows Out of Sterling Career
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) held a farewell reception on Thursday, January 29, 2026, to honor the retirement of His Excellency, Ambassador Bello Kazaure Husseini. The event, held at the Ministry’s Atrium, marked the conclusion of Husseini’s 34-year career in the Nigerian Foreign Service.

According to a statement by Ministry Spokesperson Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, Ambassador Husseini joined the MFA in 1991. Throughout his tenure, he held strategic roles both at the headquarters and across several international missions, including postings in India, Kuwait, Tunisia, Japan, Cameroon, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. His expertise spanned trade facilitation, protocol, and multilateral diplomacy.
