Kaduna State has concluded preparations to host the official flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign scheduled for Saturday, October 24.
Thousands of party leaders, delegates and supporters are expected to converge on Kaduna for the event, which will mark the commencement of the APC’s nationwide presidential campaign ahead of the general elections.
Organisers said preparations for the rally have reached an advanced stage, with local organising committees, security agencies and party officials coordinating efforts to ensure a smooth and successful outing.
As part of the final preparations, the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), inspected the Ranchers Bees Stadium, the venue for the campaign launch.
The minister said the assessment focused on security arrangements, crowd control measures and the readiness of facilities at the stadium to accommodate attendees and dignitaries.
Speaking after the inspection, Musa, who also serves as Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Committee on Intelligence, expressed confidence in the state’s preparedness for the event.
He stated that Kaduna was fully prepared and secure to receive the President, party leaders and supporters expected from across the country.
The APC campaign rally in Kaduna will officially launch the party’s presidential campaign tour across Nigeria.
