APC Aspirant Abdurrahman Haske Pledges Continuity of Fintiri’s Projects in 2027 Bid

11

Business mogul and All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant, Abdurrahman Haske, has officially entered the 2027 Adamawa State governorship race, submitting his nomination forms and unveiling a comprehensive development agenda focused on economic revitalization.

Speaking to journalists shortly after completing the submission process, Haske addressed concerns regarding his age, arguing that leadership should be evaluated on the merits of competence and professional experience rather than youthfulness alone.

”Judging me by my age alone is not fair,” Haske stated. “I have served this country diligently across different sectors—from oil and gas to agriculture and telecommunications. All of this is well documented.”

Primary Preparedness and Party Process

Haske confirmed that he has fulfilled all legal requirements stipulated by the Electoral Act and is ready for the party’s screening process. Despite ongoing discussions regarding potential internal consensus candidates within the APC, the aspirant expressed confidence in the party’s democratic mechanisms.

He noted that he is prepared to secure the ticket through any approved format, whether by consensus or direct primary arrangements.

The “Adamawa First” Agenda

Outlining his vision for the state, Haske’s “Adamawa First” policy focuses on three primary pillars:

  • Economic Growth: Creating an enabling environment for private sector investment.
  • Empowerment: Providing platforms for young men and women to succeed in the modern economy.
  • Governance Continuity: Building upon the infrastructure and development projects initiated by the incumbent, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

”We will build from where His Excellency has stopped and ensure that we create a greater Adamawa together,” Haske added.

With the formal submission of his documents, Haske joins a growing field of contenders in what political analysts expect to be a highly competitive primary season in Adamawa State.
