TSF Dismisses Claims Linking Tinubu To ADC Crisis, Blames Party Leadership.

The Tinubu Stakeholders Forum (TSF) has dismissed allegations linking President Bola Tinubu to the internal crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the claims as baseless and diversionary.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Ahmad Sajoh, and Secretary, Danjuma Sada, the group accused some ADC leaders of attempting to deflect attention from their failure to conduct due diligence before adopting the party as a political platform.

TSF said the crisis within the ADC stemmed from what it described as a disorderly and procedurally flawed takeover process by certain opposition figures seeking to control the party structure.

According to the group, the development reflects a disregard for due process, internal democracy, and established principles of party governance.

They further argued that the situation highlights a broader challenge in Nigerian politics, where political actors often neglect the painstaking process of building strong party structures.

The forum noted that the unfolding events in ADC mirror a recurring pattern driven by ambition, weak strategy, and opportunistic power struggles among political elites.

TSF also drew parallels with the decline of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), alleging that similar practices of imposition and internal subversion contributed to its fragmentation.

The group urged ADC leaders to take responsibility for the crisis, stressing that political parties require discipline, structure, and adherence to rules to remain viable.

The forum maintained that blaming external institutions, including the President and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), undermines public trust and weakens democratic credibility.

TSF called on political actors to prioritise internal democracy, strengthen party institutions, and focus on presenting credible, policy driven alternatives to Nigerians.
