Sokoto and Bauchi State governors, Aminu Tambuwal, Bala Mohammed and former senate president, Pius Anyim have joined the likes of former vice president Atiku Abubakar,Bukola Saraki to pick the expression and nomination forms of the People’s Democratic Party ahead of it’s presidential primary election.
The forms were purchased on their behalf by various political pressure groups at the PDP national Secretariat Abuja.
While a group of Senior Advocates of Nigeria led by Olumuyiwa Akinboro SAN purchased for Tambuwal, others purchased for Mohammed and Anyim.
Speaking with newsmen after securing the 40 million naira presidential forms,leader of the Gov Tambuwal led group said they decided to buy the forms for the governor because of his visionary leadership.
Meanwhile,Gov Mohammed and senator Anyim who personally received their forms from the groups expressed happiness, promising good governance if elected the next President
It is expected that more Presidential jopefuls are likely to join the race even when the PDP is yet to settle on the issue of zoning.
