Group Mobilises Youths Against Corrupt Practices

As part of its contribution towards the fight against corruption in Nigeria, a faith based organization Priests Peace & Justice Initiative has mobilised youths across the country with the aim of inculcating in them the spirit of saying no to corrupt practices.

At a one-day youth vanguard Against corruption National Summit 2022 in Abuja, the programme manager, Dr Agbaji Orinya expressed happiness that Christian youths are now joining the shun corruption project being implemented by PPJI.

He noted that Youths are assets to any nation that is serious in the fight against corruption hence the need to engage them in their youthful age. The Guest Speaker, Innocent Adanehi urged the youths to always shun the temptation of being lured into corrupt attitudes, saying that there is a need to scrutinize the mode of leadership recruitment in Nigeria.

According to the organizers, the campaign on Mobilising Christians Against Corruption in Nigeria being championed by Priests Peace & Justice Initiative is part of measures aimed at complementing the efforts of the Federal government in curbing corrupt practices in the country.
