The federal government has once again been urged to release the traveling document of Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat for medical treatment Abroad.
A Group known as the Concerned Abuja indigenous made the appeal at a news conference in Abuja.
They accused the federal government of violating the rights Of the Islamic cleric and his wife by refusal to release his traveling document even when a court of competent jurisdiction ruled to that effect.
Auedo Danjuma Abdul who spoke on behalf of the group also faulted insinuations that the clerics passport may have been misplaced.
The Group however warned of plans to embark on street protest if their petition is not granted.
Recall that El-Zakzaky and wife had dragged the federal government to court over it’s refusal to release their passports to go for medical treatment abroad.
