The Nigerian Export Promotion Council has affirmed the ongoing partnership for the creation of Legal and Institutional Framework for Geographical Indications for export products.
NEPC Executive Director, Ezra Yakusak who disclosed this at an #Export4Survival Walk in Abuja said the enabling act will help Nigerians to export made in Nigeria products as well as maintain its original name of products.
He said the legal framework will also create economic empowerment and foreign exchange to the country. On the #Export4Survival walk, the NEPC boss said it will help in creating awareness about the economic importance of export as well as serve as a clarion call to Nigerians that the only way to go is to export.
Some Nollywood actors spoke on the significance of the walk to them and the creative industry.
The NEPC #Export4Survival walk, aerobic and other exercise will be a quarterly event.
