A federal lawmaker representing Ahoada West/Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni constituency in the 9th National Assembly, Hon. Uchechuku Nnam-Obi has assured Nigerians that all hope is not loss on the electoral amendment bill president Muhammadu Buhari refused to sign into law.
Nnam-Obi gave the indication after his conferment of a doctorate degree by IHERIS University Togo for his humanitarian services.
According the National Assembly will take a second look at the rejected bill when they reconvene from holiday. Earlier, the registrar of the University, Adamu Wakili said Nnam-Obi was conferred with the honorary degree for his investment in the education sector and youth empowerment.
Also in his response the awardee appreciated the university for finding him worthy while promising to collaborate with the institution to enhance the moral and academic standards of the students.
