Ahead of the November 9 Anambra Governorship election, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has assured of an all inclusive polls. This is as the Commission says it has step up activities to increase the participation of persons with disabilities PWDs in the November 9 election. National commissioner and chairman outreach and partnership committee (OPC) INEC, Dr Adekunle Ogunmola disclosed this at a stakeholders round-table on disability voters matter held in Abuja. Represented by Dorathy Lejunuya, the National Commissioner highlighted some of the activities to include transcription of voter education materials in accessible formats. In her welcome remarks, convener of the access Nigeria campaign, Grace Jerry,a dvocated need for training of INEC ad-hoc staff on PWDs friendly aids ahead the Anambra Election. The need to include PWDs as adhoc staff for the Governorship election was also discussed at the conference.
