Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission says it will not hesitate to prosecute anyone or businesses that contravene its laws on consumer rights. The Executive Vice Chairman, Babatunde Irukera read the riot act in Abuja at a physical and virtual engagement with women entrepreneurs. Represented by the Executive Commissioner, Operations, Adamu Abdullahi, the EVC said the Commission is out to support as well as educate consumers and service providers on their rights in order to promote quality service delivery in the country. The FCCPC Head of Legal Department,Tam Tomunobelema took the women entrepreneurs through the laws guiding consumer rights. Some of the women entrepreneurs also spoke at the forum. The overall objective of the engagement was to promote quality and effective service delivery in the market place.
