Scholarship Scheme, Federal Government Approves 9.5 Billion Naira To Offset Backlog of Allowances.

The era, Nigerian students schooling abroad under the federal government scholarship scheme were harrassed and in some cases thrown out by their host institutions for failure to pay their fees and other financial commitments is over. This is as the federal government has earmarked the sum of over 9 billion naira to clear all outstanding liabilities owed them. Minister of Education, ADAMU ADAMU who was represented by the director, Federal Scholarship Board ,Hajia Asta Mohammed confirmed this development at a news conference in Abuja.
