In efforts to deal with some of the fall outs from it’s recently conducted ward congresses,the All Progressive Congress has inaugurated an Appeal Committee. The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Governor Mai Mala Buni who performed the inuaguration at the APC Secretariat in Abuja said the Committee will serve as a channel for party members who are not satisfied with the parties processes to lay their complaints. Represented by CECPC Secretary, Sen. James Akpanudoedehe, Mai Buni clarified that the congresses had the backing of the party’s Progressives Governors Forum. He however charged the committee on need to work inline with their terms of reference and ensure all issues of grievances are adequately addressed. It is however expected to see how these issues would be dealt with especially as the party continue to implement Peace initiatives ahead the 2023 general elections.
