Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba disclosed this when the leadership of the Defence and Police Officers wife Association DEPOWA led by it’s president Mrs Victoria Irabor paid him a courtesy call at the Force headquarters in Abuja. He said collaboration between the force and military is yielding the desired result especially in ensuring Nigerians go about their lawful businesses. While urging DEPOWA to continue to encourage their husbands in the effective discharge of their responsibility said the force will continue to support the goals and aspirations of the Association. Earlier, President of DEPOWA, Mrs. Victoria Irabor said the visit was informed by need to encourage officers in the service of their father land. DEPOWA is soliciting the support of the IGP in the effective implementation of it’s programmes.
