Nigeria is yet to record any death one month it commenced COVID 19 Vaccination.
Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Faisal Shuaibu disclosed this in Abuja.
This is as he further revealed that over a million Nigerians have been administered with the first dose of the Astrazeneca vaccine.
He said having reviewed the eligibility period between the first and second doses to between 8 to 12 weeks, decisions have been reached to ensure everyone who has taken the vaccine in the current phase gets the second dose before the next consignment is delivered.
As expected concerns of mild adverse effects of the vaccine was played up at the briefing,a development the agency says over 970 cases was recorded in Kaduna state.
The Agency once again assured Nigerians of the vaccine safety.
