Adamawa FOB Almost Ready- NIS Boss.

The Nigeria Immigration Service has been commended by the Governor of Adamawa state Ahmadu Fintiri for the prompt discharge of it’s mandate and service to the nation.

In a signed statement by the service Public Relations Officer, DCI James Sunday made available to Channel Network Afrique, Governor Fintiri commended the service at the Government House,Yola on Thursday 11 February 2021 when the NIS Comptroller General, Muhammad Babandede paid him a courtesy visit on his arrival to commission a clinic for the use of its officers and men attached to the Gurin Control Post, Adamawa State.

Governor Fintiri eschew the virtue of leadership in the CGI Babandede particularly as it relates to prudent management of human and capital resources and spread of infrastructures across the country.

In his response, CGI Babandede thanked the Governor for the supports received by the Service in terms of logistics and inclusion of the Service in the membership of the Adamawa State Security Council where they contribute to the security of the state which shares border with Camerooun.

He further assured the Governor that with the Forward Operation Base (FOB) also to be commissioned at Belel, Adamawa state will enjoy fortification in border security and migration control.
