Minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola says the Federal Government will continue to ensure a good working environment for officers and men of the Nigeria Immigration Service to enable them discharge their responsibilities in a safe and conducive atmosphere.
Aregbesola stated this while commissioning a newly completed ultra-modern Office Complex of the NIS Kaduna State Command Headquarters,Kaduna.
In a signed statement by the service public Relations Officer, DCI James Sunday, made available to Channel Network Afrique, Ogbeni Rauf commended the management of NIS in it’s efforts at ensuring Command office complexes are built in all the 36 State Command of the Service and the Federal Capital Territory.
Earlier In his remarks, the NIS Comptroller General, Muhammad Babandede said the provision of a decent work environment is the least demand employees can make of their employers, hence, the decision to commission a minimum of two command office complexes each year since 2017.
While thanking the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai and the Interior Rauf Aregbesola for their support, the CGI assured of quality service delivery and enhanced security cover in the North Central State.
